SHIPTON & HENEAGE (Paris) becomes
MATTHEW COOKSON
Twenty years ago I launched the London based Shipton and Heneage shoe brand in Paris.
Since then, I have adapted the collections to satisfy the demands of my Parisian clientele by designing new models, using different lasts and materials to create new and interesting shoes such as the famous slippers.
The collection that you find at Shipton and Heneage Paris now is so different to that of London that I have taken the decision to rebrand the entire collection under my own name.
The slippers and the Goodyear welted shoes are still made in the same English factories, and I have added a new line of Blake stitched shoes which I have made for me in Italy.
Today, the Matthew Cookson Collection reflects an original and cosmopolitan style, while retaining the same traditional quality and flair for which Shipton and Heneage Paris had become so celebrated.
